Anything Worth Saying
By Aaron Shust

Life is a mystery. The End.

Actually it's not. Well it is to us with our uncomprehanding minds and our fears of the unknown. Do you ever have those days when you think that, "This is the end of line. I have nothing else worth doing. Why am I still here?" But then you realize that there is a reason, because you are a reason that someone else may be living. You know that that one kid you smiled at as you walked down the hall may have thought the exact same thing you are thinking but he stopped as soon as you showed that one speck of kindness to him. So keep onliving for God and that one person that is still alive because of somehthing YOU did for them.

...I'm not saying that every person you smile at is suicidal. Just think.

The numa-numa song. It's got a great beat and it's more than just a dancing guy. It's in Romanian. Here's a link to Wikipedia. Read it. Now.

DRAGOSTEA DIN TEI

(Also performed by O-Zone)

- Chorus 1 (4 times) -
Ma-ia-hii
Ma-ia-huu
Ma-ia-hoo
Ma-ia-haha Miya-hee
Miya-hoo
Miya-ho
Miya-haha
[These are just sounds.]

- Verse 2 -
Alo, Salut, sunt eu, un haiduc,
Si te rog, iubirea mea, primeste fericirea.
Alo, alo, sunt eu Picasso,
Ti-am dat beep, si sunt voinic,
Dar sa stii nu-ti cer nimic.

Hello [on a cellphone], greetings, it's me, an outlaw,
I ask you, my love, to accept happiness.
Hello, hello, it's me, Picasso,
I sent you a beep [cellphone signal], and I'm brave [or strong],
But you should know that I'm not asking for anything from you.

- Chorus 3 (2 times) -
Vrei sa pleci dar nu ma, nu ma iei,
Nu ma, nu ma iei, nu ma, nu ma, nu ma iei.
Chipul tau si dragostea din tei,
Mi-amintesc de ochii tai.

You want to leave but you don't want don't want to take me, don't want don't want to take me, don't want don't want don't want to take me.
Your face and the love from the linden trees,
And I remember your eyes.

- Verse 4 -
Te sun, sa-ti spun, ce simt acum,
Alo, iubirea mea, sunt eu, fericirea.
Alo, alo, sunt iarasi eu, Picasso,
Ti-am dat beep, si sunt voinic,
Dar sa stii nu-ti cer nimic.

I call you [over the phone], to tell you what I feel right now,
Hello, my love, it's me, your happiness.
Hello, hello, it's me again, Picasso,
I sent you a beep [cellphone signal] and I'm brave [or strong],
But you should know that I'm not asking for anything from you.

So yeah. I'm here. And alive. Amazing right?

So this weekend has been fun. We had a girls' Bible study sleep-over. Faith, Kimbosha, Emily, Becky, and I went and spent the night with Kara, Shannon, and Katie. First I went to Shannon's apartment and ate tacos. They were amazing. Then we went to Maranatha vs. Emanuel volleyball game. Maranatha won. Of course. It was supremely intense. After that we went to Kara's parents house. We swam and ate brownies and mash cake. Then we played DDR and Karaoke revolution. That was pretty much awesome. Then we put Pirates of the Caribbean on. I left after a little and went to bed around one- thirty. I got up at like eight- thirty when Kimbosha's cell phone started ringing. Shannon and I threw pillows at Katie. It was funny. Then Faith made pancakes. And Katie made sausage. It was good. I got dressed and then we went out back and played volleyball. Around eleven-fifteen Katie took me home.

Then I was pressure washing our drive and made this connection. God is like our pressure washer. No matter how many times we get dirty he is always going to wash us down again. So yeah.

I'm done now. You can leave.

Love,
Ashley
